clearence wont be a problem, checked everything beforehand, If I put the car in gear, press the clutch, I can push it round, so dont think so, cyl is clear, as far as I know... piston 1 & 4 is top, 2&3 bottom, checked 2 &3 before putting on the head.

Turning it reverse.... releasing the bolt on the front pulley.... so ya.... not nice

like I said the motor(without the head) Turned on wednesday evening, after assembling everything, its stuck.

oky, I have a plan, but tell me if I am stupid or brave?

Pour a small amount of oil in each cyl... for extra lubrication, take out the sparkies. Pull the car at about 40km/h, put in 4th, slowly release the clutch, see if it will free?

If the timing was not right it would have moved slightly to a point and then stop...and then back again....but it will not turn past a certain point....and puching that point breaks valves....so if it does not move at all....somethings wrong...

My advice, take off the head and see if the motor turns...I am sure you will be able to do that in an hour or so.....

hehe, I know..... At this stage, I am prepared to take that chance, If I had the time, I would have taken out the motor again, but unfortunately we are past that stage.

When I say turn...I mean with hand...not 40km/h and drop the clutch :P
