well i had conventional SP(with uneven idle, Missing) in and then put in the twin electrode doing the same thing then but it was working fine before the uneven idle problem with the conventional SP(well sort of.) I replaced the SP's cause they were a bit gaar. but made no diff at all still missed the same, idled the same with the twin E. I am actually thinking now my problem is the boost leakage as my engine was taken out and had 2 valves replaced and the engine was opened up etc...
so i'm thinking they did not plug some or other hose in properly or something.

Well I had uneven idle just like what Derek described, and eventually I found a loose vacuum line from just after the filter, running all the way to the back of the engine. After I plugged that sucker in - idle perfect!

maybe they stuffed the valve job up?
how much did the valves cost - coz methinks I have bent the valves on my last two cylinders. Does anyone here have a compression tester?

The first problem I found was on the vacuum pipe from the turbo to the vacuum advance. I fitted a boost tap in order to control the boost or restrict it to 0.5 bar. After I changed that the car drove better but not completely right. Afterwards I noticed that the #1 coil pack was throwing spark. Changed that and then the cars drives fine.
But now the boost is on 0.9 as I need to sort out that boost tap. But the car is going very nice now.
