High comp low boost will work perfectly with a GT2860 as it will be running very close to its maximum effeciency ie: nice cool air.
Small turbo is spinning its ass off and heating the air up.
as we all now Cool air = Good power and no detonation
Hot AIr= poor power and plenty detonation.
Chemcool there is a reason all my cars have double layered fibreglass pipe on the air intake. Very little heat transfer it also bends nicely and is smooth inside on the bends and no silicone joins.
Next time u in the vicinity pop in and I will show you what it looks like.

hmmm...
I think we are missing the point here. Don't get me wrong I know my piping is long on my intake and I got silicon joins everywhere but the car ran fine with this same piping before. Thanks for the help people
I would love a V-mount, But its a ton of work and money moving the Radiator,Cutting the bonnet, Custom everything, Ducting , Testing and so on.
I wrapped my intake piping with Fiber-glass Heat wrap , Keeps it much cooler
I know the piping Duane is taking about. I might look into something like that at a later stage looks like good stuff.
As for the compression test, Checked the manual should be 1160 Kpa standard and 960 kpa as the lowest setting so those readings are OK.
"Sokar" has been in my car he says it pulls better then before but I don't think so.
For Fun we did 0-100 with a stop watch on our car's, with the passenger doing timing for the hell of it .
LOL we pulled the same time 6:17 I don't think this is very accurate but was fun. OW and Sokar damn you can launch that car of yours

There are a few golfs down here at the coast that are making 355Kw ATW

. I drove one and the cars are shocking, in 3rd gear at 3000rpm I floored it and it wheel spun, snapped to 4th and it kept on spinning, I got scared so tapped off. The owner says he can keep on spinning till 5th and about 160km/h

MAkes for a real fast car must be embarrassing when a corsa drills you.

annnywwwayyyy....
phinx - has anything else changed??? have you thoroughly checked electronics and the like???
if you got good comp, and nothing's changed, then why is your power down???? from my experience its the smallest stoopid things that are usually overlooked, and simple to fix!!!!
keep looking!

What you guys dont understand is Phinx is Crazy, "Mal", Bonkers!
I've driven in the car, it has STACKS more torque than it did, resulting in less of a kick in the back when boost kicks in... Thats why I want him on the rollers sunday, so he can see what he's pushing out finally!
