You are right. It is a forum for public opinions and you will notice that I didn't badmouth anyone , but you are on an SX forum saying that SX's aren't worth that much.

Seems a bit strange. The book value isn't very much, you are right , but these cars are worth a lot more to those of us that either own , owned or want to own them.

I think the reason that guys will pay more than book and why they don't care about insurance value , is because ,what can you buy for give or take R50 000, that has the looks , performance and sheer driving pleasure of an SX ?

You have every right to say whatever you please. I just feel that unless you want to buy the car , and seeing as how you stated that you haven't seen the car , don't tell people how little their cars are worth, because to the owner's they are worth a lot more than the advertised price.

Every one is entitled to their own opinion and if u look at the choices out there your options are extremely limited when it comes to a fun car to buy.

IMO a sx is the only RWD boosted car you can get at a reasonable price that is fun to drive and looks good.

If im right my buddy bought your red sx andrew and the price he paid for it was more than fair. 50k for a neat sx with no work required just makes good sense.

There is a Big Market for SX's at the moment I have noticed, for a decent example with not much to spend on it you should get R40K+ easy! , If its running a SR/RB then R60K ++++........

But there are those R35K ones around , but 99% of the time you in for quick R10K in fixes.

I am glad that he is happy with the car. It gave me a LOT of driving pleasure. It really is a fantastically underated car.

By the way , you must come and show me the ZX when you are in the area oneday.
