Yeah it series 2 so you cant move the TB, wont fit. This is the big port head, series 1 was the small port head.

Why cant you move the throttle body ? I have done it, works perfect.

The series 2 intake manifold isnt square in cross section, it looks more of oval and the TB looks bigger than the end. I havent had a real good look but it didnt look like it would work, but I might be wrong.

Bought a good copy greddy intake from Sparco,Made in the same factory as the original ,If you want a original be prepared to pay no less then R8K,I have looked everywhere and the only and best price is in that price range,The copies range fron R2.5 - R3.5K.
RB25SX is getting one two,Maybe make him an offer for the intake he modified(pic above)

ljs14 how much did the knock off one set you back? have you got any pics of it?
also rb25sx when doing the front feed mod on the 25 standard intake does the last runner not get less air than the others? any performance differnece to standard? besides less piping work..

Got the intake from Sparco last week,
Paid a bit more then expected with customs etc , R3700.00 from Sparco
The quality is very good,This is the GOOD copy

,As you can see from the pics you get everything with it to even fit your stock throttle body.
As for the workings of the Greddy intake,ALL the high powered RB25's have a side intake that looks similer to the greddy so the end cylinder has to get enough air or they would not sell it,It does look small but it must work or Rezlo and Rudeboy would not be pushing out over 550wkw with them

but do i notice potential for some porting at the bottom of those intake ports?

hmmm i am keen on one of those pleniums like ljs14!!!
as soon as current car cost are covered and i am back from europe il be grabbing one of these and those lights from your sparco!
