Gary57 wrote:Charl you say the globes are clear with a coloured film over them but if I look at my cluster my lights look clear when off and not red or orange.
I plan on hacking into the cluster plug and using the stock track.
The colored globe you get like the blue once in the one pic are the once with a colored film over them. The rest are clear. Youre abs, highbeam, oil, washer water ect are all clear globe with color filters in the cluster. The spare one is amber like the washer light next to it.

Gary - from the front side of the cluster, the clear "globes" you see, that look like LED's, are in fact NOT LED's...
they're just covers.
the light shines through them from the back, and this is where the colour can come in. you get a normal globe in the back, and you can put one of the coloured films in to get the desired colour...
or you can get coloured globes.
but those LED's in front are not actual LED's!

Also remember the globes in there are normal globes, i.e. polarity doesnt matter they just work.
If you fit an LED you need to trace the track upstream until you find a place where its marked + or - and then install the LED accordingly. Also some were swapped around so tracing it for one and then doing the rest the same wont work, you gotta trace each one.
Otherwise you gonna pop the nice R30 each Austostyle LED's...
