Magic wrote:The shell garage is at the mall  . Its the only one there actually , on the side . I have just been to Hermanus yesterday . What a lovely trip. About 150+- from the mall at Canalwalk to there . 2 mountain passes included .Could be a bit too far for some . :?

We could easily make a restaurant booking for the guys at one of the restaurants . Stellenbosch is closer though and so too Franshoek. Not too sure about eating arrangements at these two destinations .

There is also the infamous Car museum just outside Franshoek .
Really good to experience .Cost per entry+- R 60 :D

At a real stretch , we could pull off , set up a braai spot and braai ! This would of course be very informal and I can guarantee wheels would get dirty with dust !
hehe, yeah sorry I couldn't meet you man... damn work!!

I think the stellies franshoek thing is a good idea too. nice franshoek pass...

All fantastic ideas! I'm keen on the Hermanus drive if it's ok for everyone else, otherwise the car museum sounds great. Since it's a long drive, maybe we have breakfast @ canal walk, then lunch in Hermanus? Riekert maybe you can make a booking at a spot in hermanus?

Yeah I should be able too... there's a nice place called Savannah that makes awesome food plus ample parking too.

Reason I suggested Hermanus was that the Hermanus guys don't have to drive up and down. :?

I'm also keeen on the Hermanus drive coz it actually is a nice drive and we can really show off the cars . :P :P :P

Stellies and franshoek is so quick . Except of course for the museum which is def a good thang.

Another quick Idea is keeping it in town Etc. The Campsbay , Hout Bay , Chapmans Peak do and back around via OU Kaapse Weg . Absolutely Lovely . Lots of bends and restaurants .

My Vote : HERMANUS ! 8)

Ok maybe we should look at this logically.

Since Riekert is Club rep for CT and his car doesn't run the rest of us with running cars can go to him.

Its a really nice drive to Hermanus when you drive via Grodons bay and Bettiesbay.

Lovely mountain pass and seeside view, awesome spot for pics and LOADS of people at the beaches there to show off the rides.

Its about and hours drive (at slowpel speeds) so it should be long enough.

Lets make this a rally guys and not a race, the piggies are chop on the way there and they sit and catch you around every bush.

So we take it slow loud and ssssaxy!

Lets get a list going.

1. Toby
2. Shane
3. Riekert
4. Magic
5. RB25SX
6. Mario???(will the car be done?)
7. Alfy???(you coming mate)
8. Driftmeister
9. HachiRoku(will you get that turbo fixed in time?)
10. Hanco
