hahahh
you guys are funny,Nissans are like windows oprating systems, constintly needing patches and upgrdes.......reinstalation and all that crap.... but seriusly the problem is the little black box( no not the ones that record the crashes) the switching you here is inside the relay one makes the window go up one makes it go down( not go down on your) my nissan had the part controling the driver window going down was f2cked up so the window would only go up and not down,so this was useless cause i cant roll it dwn how was it gonna be able to rioll up..... any ways if you press the button to go down it should clic and when you press the button up.should click again so if it doesnt make a click pressing thebutton down you know for sure its the relay in the door. if you do find one second hand take it they are scares, i got one for R280 the other day and Nissan wants R1500 ex vat for one ...... good luck

Thanks for the info zilla.

My black box "clicks" very audibly when I press the button for the drivers side to go down. But nothing happens!

So I'm thinking the motor, or a loose connection between relay box and motor, as it occasionally (seldomly) still works perfectly.

Had the same problem like Draco said dry joint. It was heat sensitive two, worked well when cold but if the car wa standing in the sun it wouldnt. Check theres two relays inside look at there pins thats normaly where it happens because of there weight.

It was 5minutes to fix but it took me a while to find the problem. Why does one allways expect the worst.
