Hey Guys, just an update on what happened at the event for everyone who couldnt make it down...
We had 7000 - 8000 people that came through the gates... to say the least it was a successful event...
The day started out with drags which ran from 12 to 3pm, rain came down for about 20 minutes or so, we were actually very lucky as typical PE weather is shit... Perfect sunny day, no wind from about 3 onwards...
Drift Practice started after drags and the compo started at about 4.30..
We had 3 classes on the day, Street Legal, Amateur and the Pro class
The street and amateur classes ran a short course, being the scribante s's only while the Pro guys ran a 4 switch course which started from the main straight...
Ernest Page from CT did the judging, setting up clipping points on the course for the various classes.. This is what happened.....
Street Legal
Driver of the day - Jethro Schwartz(e30 - black)
3rd - Shane Justus(e30 - white)
2nd - Reece Thompson(record)
1st - Brian Canterbury(capri)
Amateur
Driver of the day - Paul Pollheim(s13 - red(wing))
3rd - Stephan Auchamp(s13 - grey)
2nd - Michael Radloff(s13 - red)
1st - Wade van zimmerman(e36 - white(plain))
Pro Class
Driver of the day - Jaque lemmer(barnetts e36)
3rd - Bruno Miranda(s13 - speed and sound)
2nd - Carl van biljon(s14 - speed and sound)
1st - Quinsley Sale(350z - Dunlop)
Thanks to all that made it happen... I'll let all of you know when the next one is... look out for the NDS video of the day... should be soon.....
