Engine choice is a tricky one. So the pro's and cons in my opinion
SR
Pro's + con's:
Lighter than the RB and less mods to put in vs the RB
Easy to get 200+ kw, How ever 250+kw Needs work! (like injectors, fuel pump, intercooler and exhaust)
No big change on suspension required.
Change gear box, wiring harness and ecu.
RB 25:
Heavy, so big suspension mods, lots of fabrication to fit in the engine bay
Easy to make 250+kw
Also gearbox, ecu and harness replacement.
RB 20:
Heavy, Lots of mods to make 250+kw, Lots of work to get it to fit in the engine bay.
Big suspension mods
Also change Gearbox, wiring harness and ecu
Please NOTE My advice is that if you are looking to make that much power, Suspension, brakes and any form of chassis strengthening is a must. Now Im not saying fit a roll cage, but things like strut braces etc are a must!
Just My 10c worth
and good luck!

go SR... you won't go wrong.ReeceZ wrote:I love 6 cylinders, my ex ZX sounded like war coming down the road. but wouldn't want a very heavy car. the brakes are already sorted. got EBC green stuff with grooved and drilled discs, would love for the car to be a good all-rounder. only thing I hated bout the ZX that it weighed close to 2 tons
