T-BO engine management system. Lots of features, incl dual maps. Been using it on my Skyline RB25DET and works realy well. I know that a couple of RB26DETT GTR's have been using it.

Getting the engine mountings to fit is a bit more difficult. They dont even come close one either side, so the crossmember will have to modified to line up with the mountings
just my 2 cents, i would rather fab custom engine mounts than mod the crossmember.. saves endless hassles later on..

also, instead of removing the abs, you could move it to where the battery sits, and move the battery to the trunk.. this worked for me, of course opinion is divided as to the usefulness of the abs in the first place, but personally i think its worth keeping..

Thanx,..... but there is no way one can make up the differance of about 200mm with engine mounts only. There are no other bolt holes towards the rear of the engine block. Would also be a lot stronger fabricating mountings from the crossmember to mach the engine mounts.
As for ABS, removed it on my S13, and dont notice a differance, but prefer no ABS for track use. Battery is going to the boot, but to make space for intercooler pipes.

wow, that much eh? pity, but yeah, guess you're not going to have a choice.. i was lucky, my vg30 install mounts was out prolly about 30mm

and yeah, i do agree with that, abs usless for track..

so here's a thought...

instead of messing around with the cross member, you need to try to get your hands on an R32 or R33 crossmember. the GTS-T one, the one that came with the RB25DET motor.

its a straight swap on the s13 chassis, and it should then bring everything back in line.

no fabrication needed.

'cept that i know this works for the RB25det motor into the S13 chassis, but i'm not sure if the RB26dett motor has the same mounting points - although i dont see why they would be different!

Thanx guys. Yes, u are correct. Only problem is getting my hands on one. I have a R33 standing in my shop, no chance of stripping that. End of the day, I will just fabricate the mountings. Will keep u posted as I go go along, shouldnt be a problem.
I squeesed this V8 into the E30. (SORRY, not a Nissan)

Back to the toppic. When fitted the intercooler (600 x 300 x76), thats when I realised that the front end was way out of line. Note where the headlights attach. That has been sorted out now.

To fit the engine and gearbox, u have to dent the firewall on the starter side to allow some clearance. Just used a hammer. That will all be painted again.

The whole car gets resprayed ,since it had to go to the panel beater.
