Ok, so I got a walbro fuel pump delivered last week and today i decided to install it. Here are some pics: :)

Here is a pic of the walbro kit:

Safety first!

The old pump still attached to the bracket:

A comparison between the 2 pumps:

I'm sure the stock pump is surposed to be larger than the walbro?!? What pump is this then :?

Pump installed onto bracket:

Wiring done:

Overall a pretty easy job. My sx seems to be running great. I'l have to drive it a bit more to see if the occational fuel stutter is cured.

Oh and btw the fuel tank on the import sx's does have baffel plate:

I'm glad I changed it then, coz that old pump was shorter and slightly thinner. It has no markings except for a serial number on it, so I can't tell what make it was. Maybe I'l try google the serial number later.

Ok, for the next set of upgrades to my sx I'm going to focus on suspension mods.

Now what are my option in this department? I already have strut braces and sub frame spacers.

I'm thinking a nice set of tein lowering springs. Would these make a good difference in how my sx handles? I don't want to spend a huge amount of money of buying expensive coilovers at this stage. When I eventualy go forcoilovers I'l go big and get some tein super streets or something but for now I can justify spending that kind of money.

So what do you guys think? What would be my best bet?

add poly bushes to that equation and you will be amazed at the improvement!

So, you think with the tein lowering springs and the polyuethrane bushes I would be good to go?

I can get the tein lowering springs and the poly bushes together for a total for R4000 delivered. Does that sound reasonable?
