hey RB - this is gonna be friggin awesome man...
and where are all those haters who gave me such kak for saying that the toyota JZ motors would be awesome swaps.
i too cant wait for the pics, and maybe a test drive!!!
anyway - you've already mentioned your tuner. and...
i think you need a standard engine harness to run with Apexi Power FC!!! i dont think they sell wiring harnesses with the FC!

Hey thanks guys , i was thinkin i might be banned for swopping a toyo engine into and SX

, ....Nice to have the support
The tuner has taken photos, getting them is a bit of a prob, but im organising something
The difficult thing with the 2jz is the gearbox, they are extremely rare
the 6sp box is king but i couldnt find one, also the engine importers only have the auto versions of the 2jz, so it requires a fly wheel and clutch kit
Yeh the intake and turbo are on the opposite side so ill have to make a heat sheild to protect the brake fluid from boiling
The 2jz is easier to fit than a Rb26,
but the exhaust will run very low, so it requires some work there
Im sure that guys are going to start fitting in 1jz soon , as they are very cheap at the moment, not sure how strong though

chrisida???
dont you mean cressida??? i didnt know toyota made a car that represented the christian faith!!!
teh 1jz is very strong too - just smaller capacity, although it apparently has a better head than the 2jz - but this would only come into play at the very extreme of the horsepower limits!!!
i dont think the cressida bellhousing fits. it would have to be made up.

Ok so we managed to get a 5 speed box thats fits on perfectly, hopefully its strong, dont really know what its out off though, but it looks big
I wonder if a 1jz could be as strong as some of the Rb25s we have running
@ Rudeboy......Ah so you the guy that bought his setup,,,, sweet
Riaans engine bay was the best bay ive seen in a long time
He said he would only be running by the end of the year
but he is going for big power
Id love to know if the engine in the lexus in the speed and sound has be opened and upgraded or not
