Captain Araldite s***s all over captain solder. Can captain solder be used to glue back together a landrover carburetor that had cracked in half while on a hunting mission in the bush? icht don't think so...

but the solder has worked i think.
an initial pressure test has proved that.
this weekend we put it through its paces with air pressure and water pressure. see if it holds up!

Solder would hold if you had a flame to melt it in to the crack....and then you give it a once over with your "torque member"
