PC in the boot is a small form factor Desktop PC, with one 5" bay
DC power supplies you get cheap ones R500 and you get decent ones R1000 the cheap ones don't last from what I have read...
Actually if you look at desktops and laptops (if you open them up), there isn't much difference in the way that slap the shit together... The components are mostly the same. I have been running mine for nearly a year and thats through my drifting and so and only had once or twice where the PC crashed because of heavy bumps and my SX is KAK hard
