Hi All
Thanks for the input guys. Where does this pump sit? And is it available for purchase from local spares or even agent.
Coil packs are fine, no cracks and I checked the springs, all intact. The cars was just serviced before the problem started. So the plugs are reletively new.
The car does not misfire on normal driving but only on full throttle. I also supect fuelling so we'll need to check everything fuel related.

All ideas welcome guys.

Just an idea....before you take out the pump( sits in the fuel tank) make your spark plug gaps smaller.....to about 0.6 or 0.8, just check if that does not solve the problem, many times if the gap is to big the boost blow the spark away.....this together with my fuel pump solved my problem.

the word splutter does utter fueling...
If you need one, buy aftermarket pump... take your old one along and match up to a suitable replacement - performance places will have plenty to choose from... I think they start from R500 for a 3-5 bar pump.

I have the same problem with my car now. But the misfire only happens under boost and in first and second gear!!!! This is really starting to irritate me… Problem only started when I fitted the water/meth injection, so I thought it was that so I disconnected it and the problem is still there. I have a new fuel pump, FPR, new plugs at 0.8 gap, the coils seem fine. Only thing is that I don’t know the condition of my injectors, but I still find it strange how it only does it in 1st and 2nd gear :? :?

I for one don't believe that original is always best, why do we modify cars if original is best?

cuz is right about the fact that alot of oem use companies like gud, fram etc. to supply their "oem" parts as it makes costing sense...

Same applies to those Greddy spark plugs which come from NGK...just a thought...
