I don't like wrap, it might work but looks poo, looks like you're trying to cover up bad welding. LOL. I say a nice heatshield with asbestos on the one side of it, towards the hot thing.

ceramic coatings - I don't trust it anywhere inside anything, I only do mild steel steel manifolds on the outside to make it look - Bling. Helps with the rust as I can't find paint that lasts on a turbo manifold. Ok, it helps with the heat too.

From what I've read this morning, the ceramic coating don't provide enough insulation still need to cover it or shield it.

Was prepared to go buy some galvanized steel and build my own shield, but I know it would turn out kak...

Heat wrap on my beautiful stainless tubes does the job. The aluminium shield that completely covered the stainless manifold did not help at all. I can touch the heat wrap after coming home from a trip on the highway while the car still idling to cool down. No more melted breather pipes!!! The quality of the wrap is important. The wrap I got from Rezlo is crap (sorry Ian) but the wrap I bought from XXX Sound in Centurion is da bomb, 15m per roll or @ R450 or R30 / m. I used about 10 meters. Keeping the rest in case I need to fix it.

Tried for 2 hours last night wrapping the manifold, its a bit too tight, so now

I got about 14m of the stuff left, if any one want let me know, you can buy meter sections if you want.

Got no choice will need to shield, but now I'm only going to cover the essentials.

Stainless steel works for shields, but like I said, it needs a lining on the "inside" to work best.

Get it laser cut and bent, can make it look real good and maybe even puyt a logo in it.

Mine is also very tight. This time I was clever... Put it on while the manifold was off the car. Always started at the engine side of the tube ending up somewhere on the turbo housing. Used hose clamps on the start section to secure, out of sight. The already difficult manifold is now even more difficult to mount because there is even less space between the tubes to tighten the nuts

That is how far I got... I think it would be much easier outside the car...

Yeah the Zip-Ties was a temporary thing to quickly fasten then wrap...
