Perhaps we make the run a tad exciting. Regarding the route? There are soooooooooo much cape town has to offer regarding roads. Like a gordensbay to hermanus. .. or just to rooi els and back.

Cool...

Skylow like you said lets all meet up before hand to meet and co-ordinate properly, preferably over a weekend and a least a week before the breakfast run.

Are we gonna do something like a Santa Shoe Box thing for the kids toys and/or make up a few care packs for the non perishable foods, toiletries, etc. for centre?

If we do the shoe box thing, it would be nice if we get the kids names or at least know how many boys/girls there are and their ages so we can personalize them. Nothing worse than a boy getting a dress up doll (unless his into that) or 6 year old getting a razor and shaving cream... It usually costs about a R100 to R150 to fill a shoe box depending on type of gifts.

If we do the care packs, it can be setup fairly quickly, list items and get each one attending to buy R100- R150 worth of the listed items. Then assign each person a kid or care pack?

Any extras or donations can be added to the care pack/ shoe box (i.e. people that aren't attending but want to donate as well). Also arrange a drop off point or collection point for these donations.

Ideas on how to pack a shoe box: www.http://santashoebox.co.za/how-to-pa ... a-shoebox/.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I like the shoe box idea, gives a personal touch with specific things to the boy or girl. Only concern is organizing the shoe box as we a big group and might not have enough time for to get everything sorted.

I would say care packs are a better option, so each person attending can organize care pack which will contain items or extra items.

I agree we should meet up before the run. Can arrange a meeting for the next weekend.
