Ok folks... time for a quick update.

Last week the Powersteering pump and AC unit where fitted. New pipes had to be made up to accomodate the SR setup, so now the pumps, pipes and fittings are all in. Had some minor issues with the correct lengths of the timing belts and sorts. According to the Gatorback catalogue the SR20 is supposed to use a 4pk-890 and 4pk-850 respectively.

The 890 belt fitted 100%, but the other didnt. I ended up using a 4pk-872 instead.

The guys where battling to find a way to get the boost pipes through to the FMIC on the intake side. I now sadly have to relocate the battery to the boot. so much for my intention in trying to keep it as OEM as possible. Boost pipes and exhaust flex will be complete by monday.

Here's a few pics taken this morning. The only issue at the moment is the fitment of the radiator shroud. The one currently installed is from the CA and obviously the viscous fan is in a different position. I need to get a S14 one, so if anyone has, please let me know. If all esle fails I'll probably end up making one from carbon fibre.

Here's a pic of what it looks like so far

Another one showing the fitment issues with the cowling and the fan interface.

@ Draco - this picture uploading business is a f*ckup. For some reason it doesnt work and my screen appears to be tinted and everything in the background gets shadded out while editing, like now as I am busy typing. Sorry guy...

Hey Nate, great stuff man, in my red sx I used 63mm boost pipes and was able to take it underneath the cross member, I did not need to move battery and it never gave me hight problems...

Thanks Derek

I'll have a look again tomorrow and see, and then decide. Ideally I dont want to relocate the battery.

I also ran a 63mm pipe. It was situated inbetween the leg and fan shroud, with a 45deg bend just under the leg towards the intercooler. Will see if have a pic for you

Ye I ran 50mm pipe under the front valance to the FMIC, only reason it ever scratched was coz my SX is only 7cm off the ground, lol. I got a nice plan for you though if Adz will throw in his welding skilz to the pipe work.... ?

No cash = no updates...

Bought new OEM radiator and cowling for SR setup and need to fit it during the course of this week so that the boost pipes and HKS BOV can be completed.

Ichiba 5-lug hub kits arrived about 3 weeks ago. Will fit after mechanicals are complete and coilovers go in, just before painting.

Still very hesitant to relocate the battery to the boot, so holding off on that for a while.

Will have to seriously get my ass into gear this month as I would like the setup to be complete by the end of the month. Busy finalising appointment to have Haltech fitted and dyno-tuned by mid June latest.
