LS1 weighs less than a typical inline-6 from bmw, nice. Having said that I think the 350z v6 would also be pretty sweet if you were going to stay with a nissan motor. Hope I win the lotto on saturday

Diesel power, hmm, yes, I think I'll have some of that.

LS1 is also common as fish and chips, in the states at least!

LS1 is a narrow v8, and more compact than the 1UZ, AND it has 2 litres extra (well, 1.7l act ually - i dont want to start another displacement replacement fight!!!)

because of its weight, dimensions, simplicity and power output - and relatively cheap power mods - its the best choice of all by far!!!

and that sound - NOW THATS A BONUS!!! to get one in this country last time i got a quote - 75k for the parts alone! thats engine, gearbox, ecu and harness. OUCH!

1uz

for me - i want to get away from the complicated turbo stuff. the thought of a twin sequential turbo just annoys me.

you obviously talking about the soarer right.

i would go with 4.0 v8 or 3.0l n/a I6

I just love the idea of a straight six Twin Turbo

besides I think the Straight Six TT would be more go go juice friendly than the V8, depends how you mod and how u drive tho

nope - the stock fuel consumption indications on the soarers from toyota state that the 3.0 I6 NA is the heaviest on juice, and that the v8 is the lightest on juice!

remember they are heavy cars, they need some power to get them moving, and most of them are auto too. so the bigger engines will definitely be better on fuel consumption!
