Been using it on my RB30DET with no problems. think i damaged the RB26 (Broken ring or ring land)but cant say its the managements fault.

After unfortunate engine damage to the RB26, I will rebuild the engine with new parts. RB26 cyl head cracked beyond repair, so I will only use the RB26 crank, rods and pistons in a RB25DET block with RB25DET VVT head. Will be a 2600cc with VVT.
Recieved all the parts, only waithing for crank collar and will use a o-ring metal head gasket. Should be good for 500hp.
Parts: CP Forged pistons
ARP head and conrod bolts
ACL race bearings
Nissan N1 oil pump
Crank collar
Greddy cam belt
Nissan Gasket set RB26
Metal head gasket.
All the parts except for the head gasket cost less than R20K(landed), after some carefull shopping over the internet and importing it myself.

Hey Rb
sorry about the Rb26 damage,,,,I had a close call on saturday, as one of the clamps on the water hose gave up, was over tighten, luckily i always check under the car for any leaks, and when i saw the water dripping, i found the problem
im making sure all my hoses have high quality clamps
sorry to hear that buddy

Will use T66 or T61, still deciding (GT35R would be the perfect turbo). Std RB26 rods with ARP bolts are good for up to 600hp, so decided not to spend the extra money on rods. My goal is just a reliable / drivable 350kw.

It's alive !! Fitted a std RB25DET with all the parts that was on RB26 (T66, 750cc inj) ang Greddy style intake. Engine runs well and sounds good. will take it for mapping next week. Untill i build a new RB26, the RB25 will have to last, so will keep boost low on safe tune. Just didint want the car to stand and gather dust.
By the way, the RB25 cost less than the labour to build a new engine
