Are you still running the stock injectors?

Also the CA18DET doesn’t have stretch bolt, Re-torqueing could shift the gasket and make the problem worse.

What’s the symptoms ?

Yes, still on the stock injectors.

I'm no expert so i can't tell you detailed symptoms. It still drives fine, I'm using it everyday. It just pushes out water after I let it idle after a hard drive.

I'm confident that Gary and his dad will diagnose the problem when I take it in around the 24th.

Ok, so I haven't updated in a bit. The head has been sorted out now. It was skimmed, straightened and gas flowed

A GarysOwn custom water meth kit has been installed :) and I've got 20lt of meth sitting at home.

I also got the ABS unit removed to shed a little weight.

All was going well and Gary was giving it a good road tune then yesterday the injector driver blew on the Dicktator :(

Now I have to send the Dicktator to JHB to get it fixed :( While I'm waiting though I'm thinking of ordering some 550cc injectors as while it was being tuned it was already sitting on 80% duty cycle on ~0.6bar.

I doubt my turbo will make the 200rwkw mark but hopefully will get a little bit closer.

Got the tator back this week and the injectors finally arrived (read: I had to go fetch them) today :D So I'm pretty happy after all the crap i've been though with both the injectors and the tator.

I'l post some pics a bit later 8)

I hope the injectors will just drop right in. They should. I'l go drop the tator and the injectors at Gary's this evening and if all goes well, they will get installed tomorrow and we will be tuning on Sunday :)
