Freddie where did you get that silicone hoses from?? I have the same sort of the except mine is going from the shock pillar (where my boost controller is mounted) to the actuator. And the silicone hose goes like brittle and hard and eventually goes flat and cause boost spikes.

Today, my s13 decided to quit. Not the bearing knock, just dropped in revs down to 400 and would not idle then. Drove home with full throttle to keep the engine going. Changed sparkplugs and all 4 x coils. Nothing.
Changed the CAS, nada. Boost leak??? Cant seem to find it if any?
Injectors all 4 x injector relays active when CAS shaft is turned.
Feul is pumping nicely to the stock fpr. Engine like running on 3 cylinders.
Boost looks good on boost meter. Terrible leak between local made downpipe and turbo exhaust housing. Plan was to rectify that with motor swop. Draco and me feel that the latter cant be the problem. no smoke out of exhaust. Dont know about AFM? I just dont really need this before the engine swop!!!!

Which must be this coming weekend.

Coil maybe? Like you said, running on 3 cylinders, so maybe coil, spark plug, or loose electrical connection. Unplug each coil one-by=one to see which cylinder it is, then swap it's coil with another to see if problem moves with coil.
BTW, I'd like to come have a look-in when you do the engine swop on Saturday... let me know when

I would check the afm or the throttle position sensor.

The down pipe was manufactured by Cheetah, and also fitted. So I could not take piccies. Will take them now when we swop engine.

Is it a 63mm or a 76mm down pipe?? Also is it a diffused down pipe?? Please take some pics because I need to make myself a diffused one soon.

76 mm bell mouth. Will have pics by weekend earliest. Will take out with engine swop.

No, to much schools on this one. One of those topics again. The one say so and the other that. Stuff them all.

I cant see that it would make that much difference, it probably does make a negligible tiny bit.

Defused will flow more if the waste-gate is made a screamer pipe.
But bell mouth on average will allow more flow over a integrated defused unit.
Look we are arguing over a small difference here,
