) But take nothing away from SR's, make good power, a lot lighter, and in a SX probably better as a track or race car engine. But Driftz, if u are in CTN again, take my S14 for a drive, and just maybe u like it

hey gys that rb does look like nissan did it at the facctory ,ag who we kidding nissan could not do it that neat hahaah. but well done guys a clean neat rb swop in record time ,not many can do this.
AS for once uve driven rb you not gonna go 4cyl gain, totally agree,take a rb turbo for a spin and ud never be happy with your 4 potter.the sound , the smooth power u never gona get that from a 4cyl .but hey what do we know we just love our RB's. hope when i have all my crap i can do it in such record time.hahahahaha

most definitly time for brakes and suspension, just need to build up some cash flow again after all this

hey guys, so here is my pricing/costing for this build.
here goes:
Costing
Engine and gearbox – R14300
Intercooler – R1000
Aluminium Radiator 50mm core – R2500
Greddy style intake manifold – R2100
ACT 4puck button clutch – R2400
Excell BOV – R795
Dicktator – R2995
Nismo colder thermostat – R450
Walbro fuel pump – R1000
Apexi AVC-R electronic boost controller – R3000
Piping for exhaust and intercooler – R2225
All oils and fluids for engine start up – R530
Battery box – R95
Battery Cables – R200
Electric cooling fans 2x12” – R500
Accelerator cable – R110
Propshaft mod – R650
Back box – R500
Silicone bends for cooler – R400
Fan switch – R100
Powder coating valve covers – R100
Plating intercooler pipes – R100
Wiring and tune (rudeboy) – R1500
Labour, building exhaust system, intercooler piping etc (Wynand) – R8000
Total = R45350
Then you can add about R5k for shipping and taxes on some of the parts that i got overseas like the clutch, boost controller, intake manifold etc.

hope this helps any1 looking at doing this conversion

Wow - That is a freakin bargain!
How does the clutch feel? Easy to drive? Heavy pedal? Any shudder?

hey, clutch takes a little getting use to (still get a rough take of every now n then

) pedal quite firm, but not too bad, just in traffic it gets a little tiresome, but otherwise quite smooth no shudder, feels good all in all.
mabe need to "gym" my left leg abit
whats happening with you and the sx scene at the moment if you dont mind me asking?

Nothing much, but Ive got something in the pipeline. Will let everybody know as soon as its confirmed!

If u can sell the old engine, box and other bits, it still works out less.
