mmmm awesome vid but between your other vids you have one of the turbo at idle... dude it looks like there is something wrong with it... that turbo has alot of brake on it. it should keep spinning for a bit.

i'd have that checked

Spoke to Mr Turbo, said I must send turbo back to them to have it checked. What a mission, was like that when I got it, supposed to be a new ball bearing turbo.

Hey Rb
very nice
but that turbo is cooked, they must give you a new one
my t72 non bb spins like its on boost at idle
i think the bearing might be cooked on that one

the video shows how the turbo wheel just stops, does not move on idle. supposed to be a ball bearing turbo. Will see what I can sort out with Mr turbo.

i read your other post that sounds dodgy
those ball bearing should offer less resisitance
can see how my t72 spins on idle and your stops like that
if you try spinning it with your finger does it feel stiff ???

Yes, it is a bit tight when u spin it with your fingers, but Mr turbo (Ivan) said to put some more milage on it and see if it loosens up, if not, they will strip and check it.

speaking out of turn here, but afaik a duel bb turbo should spin freely out of the box.. dont know your specific turbo, but the one i have lying about has a bolt into the center housing to adjust free-play..
maybe yours is mal-adjusted? just a thought..

mmmmm sounds to me like they want your warrantee to expire so they have a reason not to swop it... they are very crappy if you want to exchange stuff... (note: not return or refund) something about a baby and having a family to feed as far as I remember...

I think however I'd insist to have a new one taken out and compared at least to yours...

seriously... they can rather swop it now than when it has damage or scratches etc to it... at least then they can fix it and resell... well... maybe it needs to be "run in" anyone buy a new BB turbo recently??? run in needed???
