Update:

I've got a few thing done to my sx. I got my new ali radiator installed, got a new backbox fitted and got my Greddy Profec B EBC installed.

The new backbox is great. Before, my sx was way too loud so its nice now that my ears don't bleed every time I drive it  The EBC made a huge difference, many in the mid range it feels a lot stronger!

Here are a few pics:

Thanks guys.

I don't really know the price of the fans. My sx has always run electric fans since I've had it. The one on the left is a cheapie from midas and the one on the right came with the car. Its quite a monster and flow quite a bit of air.

Well it seemed to take longer to get up to heat. So that is a good sign. It sits just below the half way mark even with the aircon on. Before I couldn't really have the aircon on for long coz when I boosted it for a bit it would start to over heat. Now I haven't seen any of that. Hopefully this will sort out my over heating problems at the track.

The real test will be taking it up the M19 with the aircon on. Thats full boost all the way :)

I'll keep an eye out for you...

It's really coming along nicely ryan. I hope to see some sort of power increase after the tune. What's your guestimate on your car's power now?

I don't really think its got any more power. Just the characteristics of the motor have changed a bit with the addition of the EBC. That greddy is a real nice bit of kit. The mid range is great :)

When it goes in for water/meth in two weeks I expect a bit more power coz I can boost a bit more. Although, it may be in for longer than I anticipate as Gary reckons the head gasket has blown slighty or there is a crack in the head :? I could feel there was some problem. Hopefully its nothing serious.
