so, finaly got head done, and fitted... and between drags and driffts this weekend we actually managed to get some work done:

engine basically assembled:

want to fit clutch andbox and drop it into car this coming wednesday...

also got around to getting car onto stands, and to remove the clutch pipe to have a braided one made up, also got the walbro fuel pump installed..

want to bleed the brakes while the cars in this position, hence wheels removed, going to replace the brake fluid with bell-ray dot5 silicon brake fliud like i used on my KTM.... never managed to overheat that fliud in the bush - constatly using the brakes so i figure it should work pretty well in the car aswell- just expensive as f*ck at +- R300.00/ltr

Motor looks good, let me know what the kw and torque is after the dyno and on what boost level, what was the condition of the motor when you opened it?

Hey Riaan, thanks - motor was pretty good when we opened, it did need the oil pump drive as you suspected... will send you the results... got the new 4bar dicktator so we can boost more than 2bar when wanted or needed, by the looks of youor avatar you got the 2jz installed, hows it going?

Hopelully my S14 RB25 will be in before you guys have a meet,should be finished in 3 weeks,we got to meet one night guys and scare the shit out of all the other road users.

Yeah there is a few, Faheem just finished a white s13 with a rb25.

And I will do it, once I have money. I just totally fell in love with that brutal sound of a RB25DET :twisted: :twisted:

Yes, would be interesting to meet up. I have heard some serious power claims in CTN. Hopefully my car will be running in a couple of weeks.

Motor and gearbox is in, doing all the pipework and electrical 1st, then recon the motor, will let you know when done.

Where did you get the Koyo radiator and what did you pay for it?

dropped the new motor and box in this morning, need to make a new gearbox mount... and then have the prop made, hope to have it done by next weekend... cant wait

got some work done....

engine and box fitted, diff oil replaced, new prop fitted... actually got it started up today but had to shut it down... :cry:

the braided turbo oil feed line is leaking so will have to get a new one made up monday:
