Tucked the harnesses both sides to avoid shortage and tyre rubbing when the ride height is adjusted fully down. I also temporarily put on the newly painted fenders. Top notch paint job Thanks to Thomas Image

Ive got the same rear over fenders.. amazing how much they change the look of the car.. make it much fatter and more aggressive.

Are you running 18's? if so ... have you / how did you sort out your clearance issues for steering angle?

Nice build.

Have a look at the earlier posts in this project thread. I have a fully adjustable chassis. Camber plates on coilovers, steering angle spacers SPL/Tein-combo, full Driftworks kit with lower arms and rucas/rods) and a lot more...

An example of parts

Ja i know you have the suspension stuff which gives you more steering lock thats why im asking... but im refferring to bodywork. ie... inner front wheel wells on full steering lock. And the chassis lip at the top of the wheel well. i had to hammer mine flat, but i was wondering because your build is so nice, maybe you had found a neater way to resolve these problems?

i cant see properly in the photo ( to dark ).. but it kinda looks like you guys actually reshaped / cut the body at the top of the wheel well where you ran the new wiring ...

Been a long time since we have seen a awesome build like this
Respect for staying with the CA

When are you estimating finishing the project?

PS: Welcome :D

O. Now I get it.
Front:
I knocked the sharp vertical section under the damper tower sideways so it is flat. All other sharp edges (ie harness) are also bent up to prevent cuts in the tyres.
The plastic inner fenders have been removed and will be replaced by custom plates to stop road dirt at door area and front light area. I have full suspension travel and steering angle without rubbing.

Rear:
The steel fenders are to be cut and welded. For the moment they are heavily pulled.

Thanks mate :D
I hope to be at least partly finished with it in June. I am on it but as we all know, there is always something else poping up that take attention away from the build. But, I do my best :)

Sometimes it is Christmas more than once in a year.

I mounted the newly painted parts and also assembled the two Bosch fuel pumps in their bracket. Then something happened...

I did something more... ;)

Very nice build  , just a question about your engine build, in the first pics it looks like u are using a std. head gasket. If so, what boost do u intend to run?

Oem gasket only to protect the surfaces. I use a Tomei head gasket. 2-3bar

Lots of horsepower demand lots of air, fuel and good spark in a well built ca ;)
