Hmmm, clear shrink sleeving sounds like a plan.... Well I got a lot of things on between now and christmas so for now on hold, but go on leave on the 20th so will start up / continue again that weekend onwards. Will be ready for whipping latest 7th Jan weekend time. Just don't know if the new turbo will be in yet by then, everything else should be though, o and the coilovers might not be in yet either, that depends on bonus ha ha ha....

OK, now I need some advice, manual boost controller or electronic? I have a camozzi manual boost controller but am kinda scared to attempt using it, have heard some scary stories about tuners blowing motors trying to tune with manual controllers....

What u guys think?

i had a manual it used to spike to 1.2bar befor going down to .8

Electronic its more tunable and controls ur boost much better you are able to tune it on ur rev range of the management
On a manual boost controller you can set a solinoid to give you 2 settings

If you can't, I've used manual since I can remember and I have never been part of the scary stories...a good tuner will always compensate for over boosting wow always slightly rich to compensate.

In most cases where over boosting happens it is directly connected to your wastegate and wastegate spring....

Thats my unadulterated opinion....

most times on a manual controller, you can just remove the ball and spring (designed to help spool the turbo faster) to eliminate boost spike...
a boost spike shouldnt damage your motor, what you really dont want is boost creep...

all the dyno graphs that ive seen showed that power delivery is smoohter with a manual controller... electronic tends to over compensate the whole time, so you never really get the boost you want but a fluctuation of to much followed by to little.. can also clearly be seen if you log boost

im always gonna prefer manual - specialy the TS dual stage, nice aggresive boost ramp with steady boost

Well just went through the entire user guide, wiring guide and installation instructions, and basically it's about 100 pages of sh1+ that could probably be squeezed into 10 pages.

This thing is amazing, besides giving you 2 selectable boost settings, you can settup your boost per RPM range, per gear, and even to spike on push button switch, this thing kicks A$$..... Dang, cant wait to get it in.

Besides that, my car should be atleast road tuned by tomorrow, good news that is...
