My car is insured as a normal S14 @ R70K, dont think my engine has anything to do with the claim i have. Will see what the assesor say when he sees the car

They will look for any excuse not to pay you out,Hopefully he does not look to close to the engine

Hopefully he does not know the difference between the 4 and 6 cyd

yes but you have not disclosed that the motor is modified

,Had this discussion with my broker a while back,If they find out the motor is modded they wont pay out for anything and cancelle your insurance

,My car is also still insured but if they come check it out if i have a claim they wont pay according to my broker
Be carefull RB25SX

The stock bonnet latch broke, or came loose on you stock bonnet, and that broke your stock windshield and damaged your stock roof, so the insurance will be really far pressed not to pay out on those items.
But if you replace the bonnet with a CF or expensive aftermarket one, and maybe some Aerocatch latches, then this would need to be specified, and in return may up the cost of your monthly installment.
You will get sorted, otherwise just make a scene or don’t take no for an answer.

Just tell them that the CF bonnet is lighter and wont damage ur windscreen that much if it flies off next time when ur hitting 240

Watch out for Seibon, they have Carbon look fibre glass bonnets.
Expect to pay R10k to R14k for the real deal.

Good news

. The insurance paid in full. New C/F Bonnet on the way, with windscreen, as there is not 1 S14 windscreen available in S.A. Will update as soon as the parts arrived. Should be sorted in a few weeks.
