Another day of nothingness !!!!

Yesterday the motor was completely assembled. Maifolds, turbo's
waterpipes, oil feed, oil return etc etc etc.

Today my tuner is doing a dyno on a stockcar, so my build is on hold.....
So to be continued ...........tomorrow I suppose ...

Tomorrow night drift practice again at scribante and I will be missing out
once more.........  I'm sick of spectating.....

Please don't think I am bad mouthing my tuner( not my intent at all), I'm just giving the updates as they happen. He's got a shop and my car is not
the only one there.

It's PPR - used to be in george but now moved to PE.

Got to the shop yesterday after work and the motor is hooked up to the
BLock and Tackle and the car is parked behind the motor, ready to be
fitted, but not in yet.

Will keep you guys up to date!

Update: Motor fitted!!!! engin and gearbox mounts fastened. old MR Turbo
Management removed as well as all previous wiring.

Engin mounts were old and broke when fitted so in went a new set of
engin mounts, now the motor is sitting quite high in the front, and to my
untrained eye it looks like the bonnet is not gonna clear the motor.

The sump clears the motor with milimeters to spare, And there's a gap of
about 1.5cm between the motor and the firewall. Does this sound normal?

Yes sounds about right. might have to lower the motor some more but then the sump wont clear

Should not be a problem, but if u need another 10mm, u can space the crossmember down by 10mm. I had to do that to fit higher RB30 under S14 bonnet.

these things dont happen overnight - I wont work on anyones car if they going to come check up on me every day or even twice a day

can only lead to one of two things - your "tuner" tells you to f*ck off or he rushes the job just to get rid of you

differant story i suppose if yours is the only car there or you paying him enough to just focus on your car

just my 2c

Very true rudeboy....but also in all fairness....not nessasarily about this topic.....if a tuner tells you a month.....then you kinda expect that....
