HAVENT DONE MUCH....
I FINALLY FINNISHED THE EXTRACTOR UNIT THAT FITS IN THE GARAGE
DOOR, THIS UNIT IS A AIRTIGHT FIT INTO THE DOOR & DOES NOT
ALLOW ANY AIR IN....(TESTED)

I ALIGHNED THE TWO DIFFERENT PIECES OF BUMPER TOGETHER.
HAD A HARD TIME COZ AFTER CUTTING THE UNWANTED PIECE OUT THE
BUMPER THE TOP PART BECAME WAVY-UNEVEN, SO I HAD TO REINFORCE
IT WITH PLYWOOD & BRANDERING TO GET THE SURFACE 100% LEVEL.

Image

Image

IT WAS NOW READY FOR FIBREGLASS!

FIBRE GLASS FINNISHED!

WELDED BUMPER BRACKETS IN PLACE TO KEEP THE FLAT & RIGET FORM.

THE FLAT TOP PART SANDED DOWN AFTER THE INSIDE REINFORCED.
WITH MORE FIBRE GLASS

Image

NOW THE ONLY THING LEFT TO DO IS TO FINISH THE SANDING,FLATING
EDGING, PRIMING & MORE FLATING

ONE THING I DID NOTICE IS THAT ON THE SILVIA S13 KITS THE REAR BUMPER IS JUST AS FLAT AS TE REAR OF THE CAR...
STOMP AS THEY SAY IN AFRIKAANS.
BUT BECAUSE IM USING THE KIT FROM A HATCH THE REAR IS ROUND.
I THINK THE COMBINATION OF THE ROUND BUMPER WITH THE FLAT REAR
WILL LOOK COOL ONCE COMPLETE.
