its a bit of a mission though - especially with cf not being painted over - it is VERY unforgiving, so i can understand why those other guys had to redo it 4 times. You only see what a stuffup something is after it comes out of the mould - so two days will be wasted and a bonnet's worth of cf is a loooot of loot. Being a mat - the fibres may bend and you want the lines to be straight, not wobbly - which is very hard to do in the time before the resin hardens - if youre only halfway, you chuck out the job, curse, scream, then calmly start over with a big smile on your faceGary57 wrote:ja he is a bit steep. working with cf cant be much different to working with fibre glass. i hear there are special primers u need to use. but come on i can work with fibre glass very well so then surely i can give cf a bash. where can i buy the stuff needed to try it??
