S14 Tuner in Joburg

Post by Alphat »

Does anyone know of good tuners/mechanics for a S14 200SX in joburg?

I've been reading related topics on the forum and see lots of people have had problems with tuners/mechanics - I've had more than my fair share too. Consequently I have been sending my car to Rob Green Motorsport when I can't do the work myself and have been very happy with them, but I would like to know what other good tuning companies for the 200SX are out there.

I really battle to understand why there are so many useless arseholes passing themselves off as mechanics these days. It's extremely frustrating.

Rob Green, TuneTech(BMW) and Budler Motorsport(Also BMW) all have great reps. The audi club members rave about ASR Auto(VW+Audi) in Midrand. Haven't heard of anyone else. Not much nissan love out there from the more professional workshops. Maybe NXGen, they're very expensive though.

My SX is currently at ECar in Midrand. I'll write up a small review when I get it back.
Diesel power, hmm, yes, I think I'll have some of that.

I decided to take my car to a reputable workshop after being screwed around for 4 months by Riaan aka Xavier.

My Mate had an 180 and found the same prob. The only guy that got it right was Manny Marino from Manny's Trix's. took him a week or so, and the results were awesome! P.s. he is not cheap.
