63mm - 76mm

Post by Gary57 »

Ok so I am looking at building a diffused down pipe as I currently have a bell-mouth. Now the bell-mouth I have is 76mm and I cant fit a 76mm diffused downpipe because of the size of the turbine housing exit.

So I want to go with a 63mm for the main and 38mm for the WG. The 38mm pipe will join the 76mm about 300mm away from the turbo.

Problem is how do I join the 63mm-76mm nicely with the least restriction as possible??

Any one done this mod before??

You can but they often not the greatest for air flow.

PFB please reply here, you have a 63 DP and a 76 exhaust.

The Only way you going to have enough space is if you go the same way I did 63 DP with a the 38mm joining the exhuast down stream.

I would like to go 76mm DP with the screamer but like you said there is no space.

Any idea if there will be an improvement by fitting a diffused DP vs the bell mouth now, a noticable difference??
