Anybody perhaps have the sizes of the cambelt and other belts for the ca18det

wish i did, i just took all mine off and went to the local spares shop and matched them up. Need to get new ones again now for my other motor

If you love your engine change your cambelt.

i actually changed the belt myself. While you at it the tensioner pulley needs to be changed as well as the crank oil seals & camshaft oil seals.

nissan quoted me R3000.00 to do this. the parts came up to R300.00 or so. It's actualy not a difficult job. the only difficulty I had was the crank bolt. It looked like the previous owner crosse threaded it before.

I let a buddy(machanic) do it for me on saturday, R250 for his help, R190 for the cambelt and all v-belts plus seal, tensioner was still cool according to him.
