Hi Guys
I would just like to find out if it is normal the boost comes in at 4500 RPM? If not when should it come in and is there any way of changing it?

Do you have a boost guage? If not, I assume you're getting your 4500rpm figure because that's when you feel the most torque. Full boost at the reef is around 3200rpm, or at the coast around 2500rpm. However, max torque is at around 4200rpm and even though you get most of your boost by 3000rpm, you won't feel it until around 4000rpm...

Hi Tody
I am not running a boost gauge at the moment.
I can feel the turbo coming in very slightly from around 3000rpm but then at 4500rpm it comes in quit hard like it been given a kick in the ass. Make no mistake is fun to drive but it’s just a bit slow of the mark.

nobody has asked you if you are running a stock turbo, cos anything over a T28 will behave like that.

But won't the SR20DET be able to be detuned to a N/A car? with throttles?
