So what's the difference between Low and High Impedence?
If you are looking for aftermarket injectors then what should you be looking at?
Injector Impedence
Moderators: P3g4sus, Daniel, rat, Draco, Riekert
you should be able to get both as aftermarket.
off the top of my tiny little brain...
the higher impedance injectors have higher resistance. therefore they use a higher voltage to trigger them.
the lower impedance injectors have a low resistance and therefore need a lower voltage to trigger them.
s13 ca18det's use low impedance injectors, and therefore have a dropping resistor built into the system to lower the injector trigger voltage. its that big silver shiny thing thats attached to your stock airbox, and has quite a few wires sticking out of it!
