Boost Gauges

Ya it is possible to up the boost by bending the actuator arm, but it could be your guage aswell, it could be both, you could actually boost .9 or 1 bar and not know it or obviosly .65 and the guage reads too high.
the best is to borrow a proper guage like VDO or Greddy or something from a tuner, connect it and see what it really boosts, or ask them to do it on the dina...

Well I have 3 boost gauges and all read different. The Wolf and the GReddy are close but the Zeitronix is about 0.05Bar out from the other too on boost and about 0.1Bar out on vacuum. Now the Zeitronix pressure sensor is a military grade sensor (used in tanks) so I tend to think it is the accurate one, but then why are the other two out??the best is to borrow a proper guage like VDO or Greddy or something from a tuner

Nice. Well is there a way to test it using some sort of tool?Gary57 wrote:

The profec B boos controller has a fuzzy logic boost gauge, the more advanced Greddy Eletronic uses a sensor, the 60mm gause is a mechnaical gauge.
The most accurate of them all is the Profec, the electronic and SMT range are 2nd and 3rd is the 60mm mechanical gauge, the diff between the 3 is about 0.05bar
