Gear Knob

Anyone know where I can get a nice leather gear knob from?? I think I have one from an S14, not sure though, and when I fit it to my short shifter I hear the gearboxes resonations. I want something that looks STDish.

take yours to a scrapyard and test the tread on some other brand car's gearboxes. Some came with nice ones and might even work.

as far as i remember the standard thread is M10x1.25.

"hello, can i please come and screw my knob at your place? i want to look at the shafts that you okes got while doing it. my lever is quite naked at the moment, because i'm sitting with my knob in my hand - it is the screw type, but not very deep though. i also want to find out if i should use grease or oil or something? the head is quite tough too - looks like leather..."

ja boet, you can cum play with your knob, just don't screw the knob tooo hard else you might break it off.
