Performance parts
Howzit guys,
I am looking for pricing on a whole list of parts, where would you guys suggest the best place(s) be to get pricing and parts from?
Looking for SR20DET S14 :
Forged internals (pistons & conrods)
Head Bolts
Water Pump
timing chain guides tensioner
Race bearing big end & mains
Intake mani gasket(Phenoly??)
Water pipes
Upsize radiator + electric fans x2
thermostat
Intake mani
throttle body
Water Meth (Stage 2)
lightened pulleys
Stage 3 clutch
Bigger injectors
cams
fully adjustable suspension arms
flywheel lighter
Valves, Guides & Stem seals
Valve springs, oil lifters, rockers
Sleeves
Wideband O2 reader (Think fuel performance should be ok here)
Oil pressure & Temp Sensors
It is really difficult getting good pricing from local guys. I have the option of importing everything but being in South Africa with our strong rand that will cost a few $$ extra.
Thanks!

Re: Performance parts
you going to have to split the list and get from different places. import parts frsports ect

Re: Performance parts
You gonna suffer the week rand whether you import or buy from an importer.

Re: Performance parts
I am planning on getting the stuff over some time, but found very few places that actually sells these type of parts...especially for the sr20det's.
One option is brian crower but once again the weak rand hurts...
I would appreciate some local place names, just so that I can compare prices and weigh out my options. At this stage it looks to be the best to send the head to vanderlinde developments and let them sort that part out, then I only have the bottem end to worry about and obviously tuning.

ALB is around the corner from me, but the guys around here have so many scary stories about them that I wonder if I should even ask them.
Thanks for the info bud!
