Throttle body question
So what kind of a difference will be felt if you change the throttle body on a ca18 to a bigger size keeping boost pipes at 63mm? will it have any affect on throttle response? power? Anything at all?

Re: Throttle body question
My head tells me that you should see some difference in power...
I see the throttle body much like a funnel, the more open or wider the internal diameter is the more air can enter and the more performance you will get. Increasing the cold side boost pipe diameter would then only obviously help.
Changing the throttle body on a N/A car makes a difference, so it has to make a difference on a turbo'd car.
But ya, that is what my head tells me. I cannot back it up with figures or proof.
