hallo people my car is almost finished cant wait to start that baby up again With a redone turbo gasflowed head and a boost controler new rings and bearings then its going for a dyno and remaping wil be done hopefully it will keep on goin like a bouing
Cool stuff! The last 6 months have been filled with everyone doing engine rebuilds and the like. I suspect the next month or so will be filled with engine run-in, and then, hopefully by July we're all meeting up for events again

I also suggest we should organise a tour someday towards 200SXMP's town and head through to the lae veld for a 2 or 3 day long weekend. When I was there recently I bought a map showing all the caves & waterfalls, etc, including gods window and waht not. The twisties are also awesome but I'm waiting for postman pat to send those unsuspecting snapshots I got...not to mention the fuel/toll gate fees..

Just lemme know when you're going to Tarlton so we can get some video and perhaps someone from the club can do a few runs against you. Depending on the state of the cars that is
Any one out there and our calibrator, tell me about this gasflow head story and dont any one of you reply with different answers. THE QUESTION is:
DOES A GAS FLOWED HEAD ON TURBO CHARGED ENGINS WORTH WILE?????

Well Im no auto machanic but it makes sence to say if the motor can breath better it makes more power and runs more efficent. turbo or not

Il let u know i think it should be around in a week or two wen i go to fetch my car but il keep u posted I cant fu#@ing wait
On the Euro CA18DET head (which most of run), you need to do a decent flow/port job to make it respond well, just doing your normal flow and polish doesn't yield much result... That is what I've read on SXOC
BUT: do a decent job and have some supporting mods like cams and the results are impressive...
Our heads aren't like VW heads where if you do a flow / polish you get massive increases, you'll probably get more power from other mods with the same amount of money spent.

I think there's a lot you can do to most stock heads to improve them, especially if you want to pay lots you will probably get a sh!tload more power but I always get confused thinking if the increased flow of gases/increased diameters means you might have less power under boost?!!?? Screw the details, give your head/engine in and fork out R10-30k and see what you get
