Club internal Drag Racing Ladder

Rules for drag racing ladder (my ideas anyway).

1. You may challenge anyone on the list as long as it is not one of the top three.
2. In order to be number 1 you will have to first be number 4, then you can go on and challenge number 3 then 2 then 1 (in that order).
3. If a person is unable to race 3 consecutive times he will forfit his possition on the ladder.
4. If you challenge someone and you loose, you will drop 3 positions on the ladder. Except if you are in the top 3, you will just remain in your current possition.
5. If you are challenging from a far (like me) you get your place on the list above the person you beat but with a * next to your name. Just saying that he beat this person but is unable to race anyone else due to your location.

I don't agree. You just stay in your current place should you fail.
We can also split the list based on location or update your standing based on 1/4 time slip .

I don't think there should be handicaps so Riaan rules the list but we can split it based on boost and Engine CC maybe .

Also you can only challenge the number above you .
so you cant go from 10th to 4th in one hop.

It makes it fun and you get to meet the club, and should someone not want to race you he can give you his place in the list.

Bit of an expensive exercise dont you think??? Beside JHB sucks balls, there is nothing up there for me anyway.

This would prevent the guys at the bottom of the list challenging the guys at the top and leaving the guys in the middle out. It should be if you challenge a guy who is higher up than 3 positions above you and you loose then you drop 3 positions.

So then Riaan better get here fast so he doesnt have to race 10 guys to get to where he should be from the begining.

True Riaan will own the list ...

You have to pay to play boost isn't cheap, Riaan paid through his ass for his cars performance ,so he deserves to be high on the list.

Remember its all about fun and friendship , the best way to set this up is like the ladder in NFSU.

let the drift guys start the longest drift list

me and you might not have gotten on so well after that comment, were it not for me growing up at the coast and being a surfer for at least 10 years.

so yes, if i could still do the sx thing in durbs, and get some waveriding done inbetween, it would be awesome!

but how can you say there is nothing up here for you? you must be young then???

Lets be honest..any kind of category or split is just going to limit the amount of people and brag rights. 1 club, 1 list. Just as long as we capture all race/car/driver data in excel we can always work out 'proportional' results based on boost, location or kw/mass etc.

As for how we move around the ladder, well, lets first get the ladder going then whoever is on it can have a poll or something.

Should we start a new thread with just 1 post per person indicating official entry or is someone just going to accept PM's for the list? And is that somebody going to be Freddie?!

Everyone who can gets to Tarlton on Thursday night.
1 no fuzz worrries.
2 times and speeds
3 informal no licenses no helmets and grudge racing is the order of the day.

That will populate the table pretty quickly and you can see exactly what your car has.

Whatever the club desides is good.... just a thaught,my vote goes for 1 race for 1 possie up, if a person is second and the 3rd challenges but 2nd does not exept for whatever reason the second place has a week to defend his possie or he looses a possie, if this person keeps on forfitting he keeps on loosing a place.

As for classes and stuff it makes it a bit more complicated, in the end, if you run all big mods and stuff the normal guy will never win, lets start the ladder thing and from there spilit the rankings, we still race as per 1 list but the results puts you in your cars ranking list.

We have 1 list that showes the fastest 200sx and so forth but we have rankings on your car that puts you in your apropriet division.

Example: 1 list 200sx

1: Dislexx s14
2: qewrty S14
3: Chemcool s13
4: Phinx s13

from there we have a category:
s14 + mods:
1: Dislexx
2: qewrty

s13 + Mods:
1: Chemcool
2:Phinx

s14 standerd:
1: poepol
2: poepol 1

s13 standerd:
1: tiet
2: VC hie kommie tiet
You don't challange in category only in the 200sx list, the category gets pulled up by the Chemcool
