Feeler: Polyurethane S13/S14/R32 Rear Sub-Frame Bushes

Post by Alphat »

I am looking at getting some polyurethane rear sub-frame bushes made up for my car, unfortunately the unit cost is quite high due to tooling costs but if other people are interested this will bring the unit cost right down. The bushes will be manufactured by a reputable polyurethane molding and manufacturing company. They will cost between R300 and R400 per bush (i.e. R1200 to R1600 for a set) depending on how many people are keen.

The bush will consist of 4 parts: the two polyurethane bushings, the sleeve and a thick washer as shown below:

The assembled bush looks like this:

Let me know if you are interested and feel free to ask me if you want any more info.

These are $57 on FRSport... Might be easier just to buy from there.

Thanks Gary57, that would be a hell of a lot easier. I've never ordered from FRSport before; any idea of shipping costs, import duties and delivery lead-time?

Price x 1.2 x 1.14 + delivery x current exchange rate. Its very easy with FRSport but their minimum delivery is R800 so try and buy as much other small things to offset the delivery charge.

Try do a group buy on here, sure you can consolidate your order with a few others. I would be keen for sure to share shipping.

Thanks all for the advice. I think I have managed to make a plan with my sister bringing a set from Australia when she visits for Christmas.
I will probably be buying some other parts off FRSport in the new year as they have an amazing range and pretty good prices.
