hmm interesting...first time I see this lol

I was reading an article other day, standard air boxes are designed for certain level of sound and economy. While the Short Ram Induction will economy suffer lower RPM and improve economy/performance mid-high RPM while the Cold Air Induction CAI (outside engine bay) will improve from low to high RPM.

So your Short Ram design style could have helped the flow of the air.

You say the car revs better and is lighter on fuel but compared to what?

What setup did you have before?

Still standard T25? I don't think that turbo will be needing much airflow in anycase, a normal single cold air induction would be best

The amount of air that can flow through the air flow meter makes this mod pointless as max airflow through one filter will be greater than airflow through the maf. If u look at the guys doing big power they dont do things like this. You need to ask yourself why that is

Honda drivers

I was referring to the majority of guy obviously there will be one or two people that would think its a great idea. Perhaps it is but look at the size of the turbo and distinct lack of maf 8) where as on a small turbo low boost with maf  there is no point as the maf is the restriction on the intake. the money spent on this could have gone to doing an exhaust system so your turbo can flow better or gone towards management or even a piggy back chip where there would be decent gains

Just out of interest here are some vids showing cold air induction and cone filters

My turbo pulls a normal single cone in [emoji107] if that makes sense

It will do that if the filter is/was blocked or couldn't flow enough - which is either because a) Crappy filter or b) It's blocked.
