reading my post I started wondering if it wasn't maybe the air vent trying to shut or open. Will go and see if I can recreate the sound by playing with the vent's controls. Still would like your thoughts on this.

howdee folks, there is a new funny sound (yes yes I know they're old cars) Any of you guys have seen the inside of the dashboard? There is a loud KRRRRR that seems to come from behind the right hand vent. It only does that when I put the key on ACC when I start the car - sounds like a relay or somet...
