OK, so basically you are saying that if I can get a VVT for my Nizzy I should ? Is parts not a problem like the CA18DET has proven to be lately? As far as I know they weren't all that common in SA cars? My info might be shady though... :? Appologies for all the Q& A but this choice is my current...

I think you are talking about what they call the hunch back, n yup it's a VVT version. I was actually wondering the same thing.... I have heard though that you can overcome the VVT by swapping out the intake cam for the larger cam from the S13 Blacktop (Non VVT) which would say to me that it is mech...
