Just ensure that when the glass is laid in the mould and busy curing it stays in there for a while. Depending on temp, it will be set and hard within 24hours, however it is stil curing for upto 7 days. Take it out before then it will distort, mistake most people make when working with fiberglass and...

Ideally out of a safety point of view I would advise getting a one piece seat. In the event of a roll over the stock seat could break at the hinge and cause some serious damage...
