O' sorry, something just came to me..........
Check your oil leavel, I know from experiance, that if the oil is just a bit low, it makes that noise, if the oil is full, maby you must try a thicker oil, as long as it is senthetic exc: EDGE, MAGNATECK.

not entirely correct charel. yes they are the same design, and they take the same pads, but the difference is the weight! s14 = cast iron = very heavy calipers z32/r32/r33 (and probably a few more chassis types) = cast aluminium = very light!!! but they are both equally effective!
